B.I.N.G.O.
The Cambridge & District Humane Society receives proceeds from Charity run Bingo's at the Cambridge Bingo Hall.  Our next sessions will be Saturday, Late Night Sessions in the month of May.  Please come out and play in support of your local shelter!  We can also use volunteers to help us staff these sessions.  If you are interested please contact us. 

Poochie Power Walk 2012
Join us for our annual Poochie Power Walk, Saturday, June 16th, 2012 @ Riverside Park.  Our day begins with a 2km walk along the trails of Riverside Park, after which, everyone can enjoy a fun-filled day in the picnic area.  Our activities include raffles, door prizes, a sponsor and vendor marketplace, dog demonstrations, contests and games for pets and people, as well as an all day BBQ.  All proceeds from the event will go directly to care for the animals in our shelter.  The funds raised assist with our spay/neuter program, medical supplies and our humane education program.  We look forward to seeing you and your four-legged friends at this years' walk!  Printable pledge sheets available here.  Event photos.

"We Love Our Pets" Have your family portrait taken with your pet, Saturday, July 14th, 2012. This event is one day only, with only 18 sessions available.  You will receive a 1/2 hour portrait session, and one 8x10 heirloom portrait.  The cost is $150 + HST (a savings of $157!).  $75 from each session will be donated to the animals at the CDHS! Dinner & Show
Celebrity Productions presents their 5th annual fundraiser in support of the CDHS! This year these very talented, tribute artists, in amazing, detailed costumes, with live singing present, "Las Vegas Headliners".  The event takes place Saturday, July 28th at the Brant Valley Golf Course in St. George.  For tickets and further information please call 519-622-2765.  Event sponsored by Sears Travel Cambridge.

Garage Sale
Our annual Garage Sale was a huge success, raising over $5,000 for the animals in our shelter!  A great big thank you to our wonderful, dedicated volunteers.  Without them braving the cold weather this fundraiser would not have been possible.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

Elephant Waltz 2012 - PHOTOS
Thank you to all of our generous sponsors, donators and guests of our 11th annual Elephant Waltz Gala.  An amazing time was had by all!  Although the final totals are not yet in, we were able to raise over $30,000 for the animals at our shelter!  Check out photos from the event HERE.  See you next year!

Have a Snack For The Animals
A great big thank you to Mrs. Gallo's Grade 2 class at Hespeler Public School.  They recently had a Popcorn Run, selling bags of popcorn for $2 each.  They raised $301.00 for the animals, as well as collected food and toy donations!  Thanks for all of your support :)

Happy Birthday Brooke!

Way to go Brooke!  This year for her 10th Birthday Brooke decided she didn't need any new toys for herself.  Instead she requested that her friends and family give her items that would be needed for our animals here in the shelter.  What an amazing thoughtful gift for the animals :)

Thank You, Thank You!

Thank you to Jackie of ABBAsolutely fit, for running her winter/spring exercise sessions in support of The CDHS and the Galt Legion.  For just $10 a class people were able to have great fun exercising while listening to the fun music of ABBA!  What a great way to raise funds, and stay healthy!  Jackie was able to raise $743 for our animals here at the shelter!!!  Way to go Jackie!

Nevada Tickets
King & Eagle Super Variety located at 328 King Street East in Preston are now selling Nevada Tickets in support of us.  This constant support will bring in a regular monthly donation to the animals!
