My new family wrote a letter to tell everyone how I was doing. Here is what it said; Puddin’ has settled in nicely to her new home. Everyone in the family adores her and as you can see, she and our cat are getting along fine as long as Puddin’ respects the cat’s space. Surprisingly, this only took a couple of days. She has had no accidents in the house and has to get pretty excited before she barks. For the first week she was especially concerned with keeping track of my daughter Hannah and me and followed us from room to room when we were inside. If we went outside for a minute and came back in, she’d greet us like we had been gone for weeks! She is calming down now and we’re working on keeping her from jumping up when she’s excited. She loves the outdoors and going for long walks. She’s walking well on her leash but she definitely would love to chase the squirrels. My husband is putting up her kennel today, so she can be outside without the chain. She is a really good natured dog who wants to be friends with everyone. I’ve taken her along to a couple of Hannah’s in-line practices and she has been calm and relaxed with meeting children and adults alike. We found out last night that she is terrified of thunder and only feels safe when she is off the ground and with someone. She is a great girl and we are so pleased to have added her to the family.
