WOW!!! I had the best day ever. An amazing woman went into the shelter to see what cats were awaiting new homes. After speaking with the staff, she was directed my way. The girls told her all about me and about how long I had been waiting for a home. Her eyes filled with tears when we met and it was all smiles from there. I was asked to be a part of the family and I purred my little heart out in content. After being in the shelter since February, I wasn't sure if I would ever get adopted. I guess I just had to wait for the right home. Mom and I were off to begin our new lives. Once I got home and settled in a bit, mom called the shelter. She told them not to worry about me anymore because I was at home where I belong. At first, I thought I was dreaming but then I realized that my dream had come true. I was home. (Jul 26, 2010)
